Since there are no more cats at home… we can go away for some time. Last week we were in Aosta Valley. We stopped at Morgex, as usual, at the Pilier Central. They have excellent angel wings at that time of the year. We stayed in Cogne for five days.

Yes, having no animals at home does make one more free. But we still remember other times.
Also – we can’t figure out what “angel wings” are – Google gives several meanings none of which seem to fit. They aren’t like “buffalo wings” are they ?
Well, even in France the name varies according to the regions. It is related to Ancient Provence i.e. the South-Eastern part of France and the Western part of Northern Italy, and French-speaking Switzerland.
Looks like a beautiful place to vacation.
It is ! And life there is cheaper than in Savoy, and in Switzerland, of course.

We were very lucky since 10 deays later we wouldn’t have been able to go there because of “the” virus.
