On Saturday night we went to my children’s house to eat a raclette. I no longer eat carbohydrates and raclette has this peculiarity of being eaten with potatoes but also with other vegetables– cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes– so everyone has his own taste! The remains will finish in gratin during the week. We talked about cycling, running. I told them my thousand kilometers…
Suddenly a cat like the one on the photo appeared on the windowsill. He agreed to be caressed, but refused to get in by the window. they had to open the door for him! He ate and drank a little but, well fed cat, went away very rapidly. It is said that he has several brothers in the neighbourhood. He has one eye closed but he is very beautiful.
That is a beautiful cat.
Isn’t it?
What a good looking kitty
Indeed!
Stay safe, beautiful cat !
Difficult. He walks freely in the village…
he is gorgeous! Have never seen a cat like that!
Bengal.
Bengal! Thanks-and yes- we celebrate with turkey too for our Thanksgiving
Did you have a good meal?
(Poor turkeys… Well, we have turkey at Christmas here, with cardons. Should you need a translation, I’ll do that for you.))
i have never seen cardons! At least I don’t think so! They seem a lot like celery! Turkey was delicious
Yes cardons look like celery but they taste and smell totally different. Cardon is the same “family” as thistles, and artichoke is the closest as far as taste and smell is concerned.
As we buy them either fresh or in glass jar it’s difficult to send you some! Maybe… seeds?
they look fascinating! I can’t believe they are so rare that i have never heard of them–so kind to offer to send seeds- I am wondering if they would grow in the Canadian climate?
I’ll send you seeds if you send me your postal address.
Send it using CONTACT

so kind of you! thanks! Can’t wait to plant them next year (ground already frozen now!) i will send address via form!
I’ll get the seeds and send them. But you have to wait for the end of winter to put them into the round. Then you’ll have to wait for the germination to transplant into pots. And then plant the little plants into the sol.
Will do!! And Ruby the kitten is lovely!
Is ruby a boy or a girl I don’t know. Probably a boy since Ruby sounds masculine in French. He’ll besome a big black mancat, won’t he?
