Frimousse’s dish was the blue one. When we moved into this house and RouXy came to share Frimousse’s food, we bought a red one for him. One year later, when Tigri arrived, we bought a purple one. And that lasted for almost 10 years.
Then stainless dishes replaced them and the plastic dishes were dedicated to dry food. Soon only two were necessary after Tigri’s death on September 21st, 2012. And soon only one. And soon …
We know, and we feel your sorrow. But enjoy every moment now, and from the past. We purr loudly for you, and your Master and Mistress.
RouXy is a real little big cat.
“He’d like to stay alive,” my Master says.
RouXy! This is too sad, and I am still hoping for a miracle to turn it all around. Hugs and purrs.
He sleeps most of the time. But at intervals, he tries to make believe he is fine, it is just a matter of days, he’ll recover!
“Sorry,” my Master says, “I do not believe in miracles. RouXy’s condition is such that it cannot get better. Could probably be stabilized but at what cost? It would not be worth having him suffering just to remain as he is now. RouXy was full of life. He would probably accept being an indoors cat but not a cat lying on a rug in the bathroom, covered with a blanket, for the rest of his life!”
