One more, or one less day?

At this beginning of the afternoon, at the far end of his garden, near the raspberry bushes. Frimousse alive!. But the stairs are difficult to climb.

Here is the place that he likes at the moment. It is there that he sleeps at night. And it is the place that Tigri liked during the days that preceded his death.

So glad to see this – yes, one more day. He seems at peace with whatever it is he knows or feels. The warmth of the sun, the breeze, the smells among the grass. When he marshals the strength to come and go, he is still very much “there.” Soft head kisses !

As long as he can go about, inside, outside, inside… he’ll be alive!
his Mistress removed two ticks from his head last night. We’ve never had ticks in our garden before! Or they seem to feel Frimousse is weak….

Prayers to keep him safe from the ticks ! Fleas seem to know also when a cat is weak, even if the cat has had her medicine. Blessings to you and his mistress for keeping such good watch on him. Purrs for sunshine today !

We are so glad to see Frimousse enjoying, even ruling his domain at this time. We re glad you found the ticks and got rid of the nasty things! We salute you Frimousse – you are clearly a brave and life-loving feline. And with a kingdom like that, we can see why!

A (far too) quiet day for Frimousse today. Slowly going away…
Let’s hope he’ll want some food when he gets in for the night in aboutan hour.
He enjoys being stroked, that’s certain.

Down, down, down… Slower, slower, slower… Less, less, less…
Frimousse is slowly vanishing. He doesn’t seem to suffer. He still manges to climb the stairs.
What can we do, except being with him!
Difficult to imagine that just before Christmas both Frimousse and RouXy were full of life – even if RouXy was declining…
Have a nice day, when you wake up. (8.15 am here)

9:10 here and I have the day off and all the animals fed – we have sunshine after a night of thunder and more rain ! I wish I could send some sunshine & blue skies to you and Frimousse. It is so hard to watch him decline, slowly, slowly…gentle head runs and bisous. Prayers for strength (for whatever is needed) to you three.

Sunny afternoon. With a strong cold wind. Frimousse has caught and eaten a lizard. Another tick on his head! His Mistress has just fed him with a third of slice of roasted turkey “gammon”. Cat food in the bin – Flocon would go fat!
He is as well as he can be…
      Have a good day!

I did! The afternoon was quite warm. He spent it in the garden, in the shade. Now he’s waiting for us on our bed. Because today is Friday and his Mistress doesn’t have to go to work on Saturdays.

Yesterday was the warmest day since the beginning of the year. Tulips are blooming. So are peach-trees. Today should be the same. But cold again on Tuesday.
Frimousse is sleeping upstairs at the moment. I won’t try to “push” him outside before it is a bit warmer.
Frimousse’s Mistress has just left to go running by the Lake.

He had a very quiet night with us on our bed. He only moved when we got up. He drank a lot, didn’t eat a thing and went upstairs, in his facourite place. He climbed the stairs quiet easily, surprisingly.
his Mistress is going running by the Lake now. I’ll try to tell Frimousse to go out in the garden when it is a bit warmer. Temperature 10°C on the window now at 9:30. But there’s sunshine. Frimousse still doesn’t seem to suffer. Let’s hope he doesn’t before Monday!
      Thank you for your support.

Well, only buds on his lime-tree…
He’s just drunk some “water” of a tuna fish can…
We’ll go to the vet’s surgery on Monday 6:30 pm. Let’s hope Frimousse won’t start really suffering before…

    Ah ! Purrayers !
I believe animals have souls (and not all people do!) – that is just my belief, I am not trying to preach. But I believe he will “see” Easter, and his friends, and you again ! Soft head rubs to your brave kitty, and bisous ! And courage for what needs to be done.
